Jessica (Ross) Wauhop is the the managing editor for Making History and the Sr. Content Strategist for Colonial Williamsburg. She refers to herself as a “recovering journalist.” After all, she dedicated almost a decade to producing the news for two Virginia NBC affiliates. The Emmy-award-winning writer says the best part about the blog is being able to interview so many fascinating people to share their stories with you. Jess is a die-hard Hokie and proud momma of three fur babies of her own including two Australian shepherds and a beagle. She also has a soft spot for all of the animals in our Rare Breeds Program as well as our Briard mascot, Liberty. #thatface
Bill Sullivan dragged his family to Williamsburg back in 2003 so he could study early American history at William & Mary. His passion, aside from Cleveland sports, is for spreading the word about the significance of Williamsburg’s importance and the founding era.
Jessica Hann, a native New Englander, fell in love with Williamsburg while on vacation with her husband and never left. As Director of Social Media & Engagement for a place where every day is “throwback Thursday,” she fully embraces the challenge of finding creative ways to reach new audiences and create relevancy.
Jessica has a love of design, cooking, and being active.
Jenn Lyon is the community manager for Colonial Williamsburg’s social media team. She is passionate about helping others understand the past, and recognize how it influences us all everyday. Faulkner said the past is never dead-and he was right.
She holds BS degrees in history and political science, an MA in American history, and a PhD in American history.
Jenn enjoys making people laugh, long walks on the beach, and ironic use of the hashtag #blessed.
Sheri Wood is the Communications Coordinator for the social media team. She has been with the Foundation since 2015 and began working at Colonial Williamsburg as a Conference Concierge. Sheri is very excited in her new role where she says she is learning something new every day.
Sheri and her husband Jeff live in Sandston, Virginia with their two cats, Sophie and Cali. They have two grown children (Jessica and Brandon), plus two granddaughters, Lilyann and Gracelyn.
