From this beautiful colonial cookie jar to unique silver charms to children’s books and stuffed animals… we offer several Colonial Williamsburg-inspired gifts for the animal lover in your life. I put together my list of favorites that caters to a variety of budgets. Check it out and see what you think!
Charming Choice
$24
Charm bracelets don’t ever seem to go out of style and this year, we have two new charms designs, made after our Briard mascot Liberty and one of our favorite Historic Area cats, Sir Thomas Grey! Click here to add these to your cart and see what else we offer!
Special Treat
$12
In sticking with the Liberty theme, I just adore this kitchen towel. It’s perfect for animal and food lovers alike as it includes a special recipe for homemade dog treats. Because let’s be honest, our pups deserve presents on Christmas too!
Snuggle Buddies
$9.95
Have some younger livestock lovers on your list? These super soft stuffed animals are the perfect buddies to cuddle up with at bedtime and they also make great stroller partners when your little ones come to visit us and see the animals in person. Sally is our Leicester Longwool lamb and Benjamin is our Red Devon calf.
Sweet Gesture
$55
This colonial Christmas jar is the perfect way to store cookies this holiday season. If you really want to step up your game, you can bake some goodies to include with it if you’re gifting it to someone else! (UPDATE: They’re now showing “out of stock” but we should have more inventory available by next week so you can make your purchase and it will be put on back-order, arriving by Christmas!).
Warm Wishes!
$10
While fall may be my favorite season in Williamsburg, I have to admit there are fewer sights more beautiful than freshly fallen snow in the Historic Area. This lovely ornament with Bruton Parish in the background and holly leaves in the foreground is a festive addition to any tree.
Farmer’s Favorite
$12
Whether you have a farmer in the family or just someone who loves, chickens—this set of two towels is a perfect stocking stuffer (well, depending on how big your stocking is!). Revolutionary ideas in animal management in the mid-18th century forever changed livestock farming and this gift pays tribute to the rooster and our Rare Breeds Program.
Rare Gift!
$14.95
We offer several books about our heritage breeds including our sheep, cattle, horses, and chickens. “Link to the Past, Bridge to the Future” is full of beautiful pictures and makes the perfect coffee table book to showcase your love of CW and its animals.
If you have younger readers on your list, I recommend A Horse’s Tale with Lancer starring as the lead character. The story of how his friends work to cheer him up unfolds in our colonial capital so as you read through it, you’ll see quite a few familiar backdrops. This book sells for $17.95.
Rooster Pendant
$54.99
A great choice for the matriarch in your family—you know, the who rules the roost! This Rooster Mother of Pearl Pendant is framed in sterling silver and is inspired by the many roosters who live in Williamsburg today, just as they did in the 18th century. It come with an 18″ silver belcher chain.
FOR THE PERSON WHO HAS EVERYTHING!
$149
Finally, I think this beautiful birdbath is quite a conversation piece. It’s modern. It’s fun. It’s unique. The bath and stand are bronze and verdigris finished with a rust-resistant aluminum coating. Even better? And I can almost guarantee you there won’t be a duplicate

Tried several times to log in; just registered a few months ago but would not allow me to log in even though I was very careful and used correct info. Tried to reset password several times but your emails links were large, off the page, and did not translate to my Mac system, I guess.
So sorry I cannot shop online. Your system is just not user friendly. The shipping charges are astronomical and I will not do that.

I’m so sorry you’re having trouble locating our merchandise, Pam! Is there anything in particular I can try to help you track down? I did provide links for every product featured in the blog but perhaps you’re looking for something different.

I’m glad Sally the sheep is still being sold - I tried to buy a few for Christmas presents, but was unable to find them on your new Williamsburg Marketplace site. I MUCH prefer shopping on the old site - I was able to find everything either under the categories or by doing a search. I cannot find a search capability on the new site, and it is frustrating not to be able to search for specifics I am interested in! The new site may provide better behind-the-scenes mechanics - I don’t know - but it certainly isn’t better for customers to use.

I just want to make sure you’re on the right site, Pam. Are you going to http://shop.colonialwilliamsburg.com ? I used the search option at the top and typed in both “lamb” and “stuffed animal” and Sally came up both times!

Yes, I’m at the correct site. The search at the very top of the page appears to be an overall CW intranet site search - does not at all look like a search associated with the Marketplace. Visually, it looks separate from the Marketplace. Not good design. Found Sally, but too late now! I’ve already done my shopping! thanks, tho -
