I realize some of you may think it’s still too early to talk about Christmas. After all, we just celebrated Thanksgiving. But in our house, it’s tradition to shift from turkeys to trees this weekend. We love picking out a live tree and one of my favorite parts is of course unpacking all of the ornaments!
I’ve been adding to my CW collection over the years and each ornament has special meaning to me. I’m a big fan of the brass 3-D options we sell featuring our hotels and other historic buildings. Each Christmas, we unveil a new one. For 2016, it’s the Capitol!
Last year, I received ornaments for each of our taverns in town. While I love all of them, I have a particular fondness for Shields since that’s where we had our rehearsal dinner before our wedding at the Williamsburg Inn.
