Like New Year’s, there’s something about the spring that makes us all want to get organized—and in 2016, that includes devices.
For a brief moment, we convince ourselves that this time, THIS TIME, we will be diligent about deleting unwanted photos and videos before receiving the notification that we’re out of storage space at the most inopportune moment possible. We WILL charge our devices like mature, responsible adults, rather than arriving at an exciting new event or museum exhibition only to find the battery on 14%.
Alas, we cannot help you follow through on those digital “spring cleaning” goals…but we can provide a fresh, new background for your smartphone, tablet, or computer. Here’s a set of Historic Area detail photographs (an inaugural set, if you want me to make this a seasonal thing!) to upgrade your device.
To save one of these photographs on a desktop or laptop: hover the cursor over the picture, right-click, and select “save image as…” from the menu. On a smartphone: tap and hold the photo, and select “save image.” If you’re unsure of how to then change the background on your phone, not to worry. It’s easy for both iPhone and Android.

Thanks, but I’ll keep using the image I have.

These are just beautiful! Yes, please do this again for each season. It’s always nice to have some beautiful new phone wallpaper of our lovely Colonial Williamsburg!
