For Christmas, we showed you how to create your very own 18th-century decorations for your home. Now that spring has finally sprung, we’re here to show you two more wreaths to celebrate the season.
Amanda Doggett is one of our talented interpreters with an eye for beauty. She can take a variety of items available in the Colonial Nursery and turn them into stunning pieces of art to be hung on display. She created several beautiful pieces for Christmas using dried fruit and other items, and now she’s back with bright flowers and even a bird’s nest!
Take a look at the video below for her step-by-step instructions on how to make the two wreaths she’s holding in the picture. Make sure you listen very carefully to her instructions on making sure your wreaths last as long as you’d like.
Like Amanda said, all of the items used to make these wreaths are available in the Colonial Nursery. If you have any questions for her, leave a comment or come by for a visit!
