It’s one of the more hotly debated topics of the time—who’s responsible for the missing gunpowder? Just whose side are you on?
Are you more of a peaceful person or do you find yourself ready to fight? I can tell you, I love a good debate, especially when it comes to current events and politics. But not everyone feels the same. My dad always keeps a cool head and I have lots of friends who think logically.
With our new season upon us, that means some of our popular programs are back in action. That includes Storming the Palace, one of my personal favorites! Join the people of Williamsburg as they work to figure out where the gunpowder went and who’s to blame. Some think Lord Dunmore is responsible and should be confronted by violence. Others wonder why he would take the gunpowder in the first place.
Last week, on a beautiful day with barely a cloud in the sky and the sun shining bright, we held a rehearsal on Palace Green. Our actor interpreters are incredibly talented (if you didn’t know that already!) and you won’t be disappointed in the slightest by this performance.
The best part? If you’re a hotel guest, you can join the militia as they march from the Williamsburg Lodge to Palace Green and take the Palace by storm!
Now I don’t want to give away too many details on the program. To find out who took the gunpowder, you’re just going to have to see for yourself!
